I often do the same. I’ve got rolls of undeveloped and unshared film. Hundreds if not thousands of digital shots that are just for me as a way to just be in a moment, get out and do the dang thing for yourself. The state of the world at the moment makes it even more important to do that and not mire in the muck of the everyday and enjoy what we have while we have it, even when that’s a hard thing to do.
Amen! Honestly, I’m forcing myself to not be online all the time, because 99% of the time I’m reading news that are making me more anxious and angry. Going out and shoot just for fun it’s an activity that is keeping me “sane”. A part from work, where I have to photograph people (but it’s different from the street photography approach) I think it will take me sometime to get back to shoot people properly. However I don’t mind the exploration of new way of seeing :)
I particularly love. I do this often, just get out and shoot. More often than not I don’t do anything with the results but the act of pressing the shutter is enough.

“the act of pressing the shutter is enough” is such a powerful thing to say, thanks to making my feelings into beautiful words ❤️
Shot 5 is one of my favourite as well :)
